Hello,
Thank you for submitting this bug report.

From your logs, I see:

/etc/ca-certificates/update.d/mono-keystore: 10: /usr/bin/cert-sync: not found

It seems ca-certificates-mono is missing from your system. For future reference this can be fixed with the following command:

sudo apt install ca-certificates-mono

How did it force you to report the bug? We should make sure it's clear how to skip filing a report if desired.

From your report it sounds like you don't plan to continue using Dovecot after the upgrade. I presume you had installed it for some planned use but ended up choosing a different direction. Is it possible the setup/configuration was unfinished / incomplete or became invalid?

Changed in dovecot (Ubuntu):

This seems to occur during update when dovecot remains not properly configured.

Same situation as mattzenker:
dovecot accidentally has remained on my system, I don't need it.
