Bug Description

There is a line missing in the "/etc/netplan/00-installer.yaml"
With "renderer: NetworkManager" added the eth0 status is displayed.
Would be nice if this goes with the installer/default setup.

Hello,

This project is only for issues with the Ubuntu One Single Sign-On service, and the problem you describe does not seem to be directly with the sign-on service. Further, the problem you describe is not a bug but probably a support request, so here are some pointers for the correct places to get help:

If you need help with general Ubuntu issues you have two main choices.

The first is to rely on free support provided by the Ubuntu community. For this please visit https://www.ubuntu.com/support/community-support or post your questions directly in http://askubuntu.com/ or https://ubuntuforums.org/.

The second if you're looking for commercial-grade support, is to check out Canonical's support offerings for Ubuntu at https://www.ubuntu.com/support.

I hope this helps you find a solution to your issue.

Regards,

- Daniel

This is indeed not for the Ubuntu One. The bug report need to be at ubuntu-mate. Due to not getting a bug or feedback tracker there i placed the request here.

Your bug lacks details. What is your Ubuntu MATE version? How did you installed it?

Please run `apport-collect 1919098` to attach the logs.

I installed ubuntu-mate-server 20-10. Than i installed the apt-get ubuntu-mate-desktop.
The server is for the server functions i need. The desktop is becose i'm used to use a gui.

I do not see logs, so please add output of the below commands manually:

```
head -n5 /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo cat /var/log/installer/{version,media-info}
```

Technically I'm on yours side, because I like to use mini.iso ( http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal/main/installer-amd64/current/legacy-images/netboot/mini.iso ) and tried to use Ubuntu server image ( https://askubuntu.com/a/1294116/66509 ) to install desktop on top of it.

The remediation method is described here - https://askubuntu.com/a/1257474/66509 .

You are right. it was late that day. almost midnight after finishing a 12 hour workday. it is the ubuntu-20.10-live-server-amd64.iso that i used to install.

i may jumped to early to a conclusion based on a previus version of the ubuntu-mate-"version"-desktop-amd64.iso so i tested the ubuntu-mate-20.10-desktop-amd64.iso where it was solved.

this may be not in the installer but the package named ubuntu-mate-desktop
