Bug Description

apport 1.95-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Pangolin
apport 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.1, Ubuntu 14.04

1. Cause a crash in LibreOffice (specifically, /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin).

What happens: "Sorry, Ubuntu 12.04 has experienced an internal error."

What should happen: "The application LibreOffice has closed unexpectedly."

This is because the /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin binary is shipped as part of libreoffice-core, which does not contain any desktop files. These are shipped in the individual libreoffice-* packages.

Same sort of problem after upgrading to 15.10 All I can find for help is either not applicable to my issue, or not understandable.
