Bug Description
The current shutdown prompt solves this use case problem:
1. A user accidentally clicks the Shut Down button in the system menu and needs a way to cancel shutdown.
It would be nice if it solved this problem too:
2. A user clicks Shut Down and expects the computer to do just that without further input.
A user report of that scenario can be found at https:/
GNOME Shell has a very nice feature where after selecting Power Off in the user menu, the confirm dialog starts a 60-second countdown which fixes the problem.
