Bug Description

In r6123.1.10 (which used to be r6133 before the PQM switch lost a chunk of mainline), three TestTreeTransform regressed on babune:

  bt.test_transform.TestTreeTransform.test_rollback_on_directory_clash
  bt.test_transform.TestTreeTransform.test_two_directories_clash
  bt.test_transform.TestTreeTransform.test_two_directories_clash_finalize

This is because using gettext necessitates doing more of the right thing when it comes to unicode, which runs into bug 273978 when using localised error messages from the OS, as the babune windows slave uses.
