Hi latrom,
Thank you for taking time to report this bug and help make Ubuntu better and thank you also for offering extar debugging.
The touchpad is not logged anywhere in the attached files, so it'd be a kernel problem, before forwarding this bug Upstream let's make sure to avoid wasting time. I need your help with as the fllowing:
Please start your Terminal(hit Ctrl+Alt+T) and run this command:
cat /proc/bus/input/devices > ~/Desktop/devices.txt
and then attach the 'devices.txt' file from your Desktop to this report/email.
Thanks

It seems that even the attached usb mouse did not work this time.

@latrom: Thank you for reply.
Yeah indeed the bug manifests itself, I just wanted to give all possible documentation to kernel developers to start working on it without leaving any possiblity to be asked for more files after forwarding.
Thank you very much, bug confirmed, but I don't know what's happenning with kernel.org, sadly have to wait till it's back.

Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report on this issue.

However, given the number of bugs that the Kernel Team receives during any development cycle it is impossible for us to review them all. Therefore, we occasionally resort to using automated bots to request further testing. This is such a request.

We have noted that there is a newer version of the development kernel than the one you last tested when this issue was found. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the bug if this issue still exists or not.

If the bug still exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Confirmed. If the bug no longer exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Fix Released.

Thank you for your help, we really do appreciate it.
