Bug Description

trusty SRU request

[Impact]
svtplay-dl is a simple tool for downloading videos from video-on-demand sites.

Having it available also in the trusty archive would be appreciated by a not insignificant group of Swedish 14.04 users.

New package - not applicable.

None, since it's a new package and no existing package depends on or recommends it.

[Other Info]
The attached patch would upload the package to trusty-proposed as version 0.9.2014.02.15-1~trusty, which is the usual approach for SRUing a new package according to Martin Pitt.

I have successfully built the package in my PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/svtplay-dl

It installs and runs fine, so both the build and runtime dependencies are available in the Ubuntu archive.

I sponsored this. But I'm not sure whether the SRU team will accept this, or rather do this as a backport (as that's what backports are usually meant for). So they might reject it and request a backport instead.

Well, since it's a new standalone package, and not a new version of an
existing one, the risk that it would break anything is zero. For that
reason I'm hoping that it can be accepted as an SRU.

Talked on IRC with Stéphane Graber, who let me know that -backports is enabled by default nowadays. In the light of that we agreed that this should go to trusty-backports, so I filed bug 1326145. The package in the trusty new-queue was rejected.
