Bug Description

The following is the result of when ubuntu-bug is run after precise to quantal upgrade. (arch = i386

It doesn't look to me like the upgrade actually completed as apt-term.log ends abruptly:

During the upgrade the machine froze and it had to be manually rebooted. After the reboot sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade was run though to make sure the packages are upto date.

I tried to sudo apt-get install apport, apport-gtk, python-apport and they all are the newest versions in the system.

The byte compiled python files surely were corrupted due to the freeze and hard reboot.
