Please update owncloud-client to 1.0.5 (bug-fix only)

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

In 1.0.4 support for SSL connections is broken, i.e. only insecure connections can be set up. The fix is the only change in 1.0.5 (see http://owncloud.org/sync-clients/releases/).

The attachment "diff to 1.0.5" of this bug report has been identified as being a patch in the form of a debdiff. The ubuntu-sponsors team has been subscribed to the bug report so that they can review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff. In the event that this is in fact not a patch you can resolve this situation by removing the tag 'patch' from the bug report and editing the attachment so that it is not flagged as a patch. Additionally, if you are member of the ubuntu-sponsors team please also unsubscribe the team from this bug report.

Can I ask for testing that you put this in a PPA and say how it works for you?

The tar is best taken from upstream's download page http://owncloud.org/sync-clients/ (link at the bottom, confusingly called mirall)

Then subscribe ubuntu-release and ask for a feature freeze exception. As it's a simple security fix I'm likely to approve it.

It installs and runs fine for me, but I don't have a server setup to fully test it with.

I'd like to test, but it seems like there's only the 32 bit version?

Installation works fine.
Connection to my ownCloud via HTTPS works fine.
Syncing works as well (did not test for long, I guess that's OK for the package?).

Matt you packaged this as a native package not a separate upstream tar and debian/ packaging. Also my fault for not using format 3.0 quilt. Fixed on upload. Thanks again for helping.
